St. Joan of Arc: A Patron of Courage and Faith
St. Joan of Arc is one of the most inspiring saints in Church history, known for her unwavering faith and bravery. She is the patron saint of soldiers, France, and those who seek courage in their mission. Her feast day (May 30th) is a wonderful time to reflect on her trust in God and how we can follow her example of strength in our own lives. To help children engage with her story, I’ve created a free St. Joan of Arc coloring page that you can download and print!
Who Was St. Joan of Arc?
Joan of Arc was a simple peasant girl from France who, at the age of 17, led an army to victory during the Hundred Years’ War. She believed God had called her to help save her country, and despite opposition, she followed His will with courage. She was eventually captured and martyred, but her legacy of faith and bravery has lived on for centuries.

Did You Know? St. Joan of Arc is a National Hero in France!
Joan of Arc is not only a saint but also one of the most famous figures in French history. She led French troops to victory during a critical time in the Hundred Years’ War, and even though she was martyred, she was later declared a saint in 1920. Today, she is honored in France as a symbol of faith, courage, and patriotism.
