Centurion prayer activity
Before receiving Jesus’ Body and Blood at Mass, we pray with the words of the Roman centurion:
“Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof…”
Just like the centurion in the Gospel (Matthew 8:8), we show humility and trust in Jesus.

Reflection: With this prayer, we are showing Jesus that we know we need Him. Just like the centurion in the Gospel, we trust that even though we are small or imperfect, Jesus can heal our hearts and live within us.
